2016-5-7 Mac OS Lion 10.7.5 and Firefox by slambeau May 5, 2016 11:21 AM PDT I have a MacBook Air OS 10.7.5 (Lion) and I have gotten a few pop-up messages that Firefox will require a later OS.
Hi There,
Apologies in advance not so tech savvy. Safari, Chrome and Firefox browsers are not updating on my macbook air, and will not connect to certain sites due to security reasons. I am running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5, and when checking for software updates it tells me i am up to date. Having done a little checking online it appears this is the case and apple would love us to buy a new one! however this is not going to happen as i cannot afford a new one, is there anything i can do to connect safely to the internet via a browser as i have only been cleaned out recently via online transactions.
2017-1-11 I update mozilla firefox but it is not supported by my old mac 10.7.5 Consequently I have no way to come to the previous configuration and I have lost my work environment with Zotero. I download 'Zotero standalone' and I have my library again. Apple Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 Supplemental Update Free. File sharing app that makes it simple to manage, protect and share files across email and the cloud. With direct support for Dropbox and Google Drive, powerful file protection and a legendary Zip engine.
thanks in advance.

Mozilla Firefox is a graphical web browser developed by the Mozilla Corporation and a large community of external contributors. Firefox started as a fork of the Navigator browser component of the Mozilla Application Suite. Firefox has replaced the Mozilla Suite as the flagship product of the Mozilla project, under the direction of the Mozilla Foundation.
To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements most current web standards in addition to several features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards. Latest Firefox features include tabbed browsing, spell checking, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, private browsing, location-aware browsing (also known as 'geolocation') based exclusively on a Google service and an integrated search system that uses Google by default in most localizations. Functions can be added through add-ons, created by third-party developers, of which there is a wide selection, a feature that has attracted many of Firefox's users. Mozilla Firefox is a cross-platform browser, providing support for various versions of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
